FOUNDATION  JOHN LANGDON DOWN

It is a leading institution in Mexico and in the world that provides educational, medical and psychological care to children, adolescents and adults with Down syndrome and their families. It was created in Mexico City on April 3, 1972, by Master Sylvia G  Escamilla, and is currently the headquarters of the Mexican School of Art Down and creator of the chain of coffee shops "Tres 21 Arte Café".

Foundation  together for the well-being of children with cancer

The Foundation carries out programs with a high sense of social responsibility,  efficiency and transparency, which satisfy the necessary requirements in the  cancer treatment for low-income children and young people, in addition  to try to reduce the disintegration of their family nucleus, by providing assistance  and rehabilitation to the assisted and their families through psychological therapies or  thanatological, throughout the  treatment, broadening your view of how to deal with the  suffering.

 The governing authority that  cares for, encourages, supports, monitors, advises and coordinates  to the Private Assistance Institutions (IAP) established in the Federal District, today Mexico City, in accordance with the Law of Private Assistance Institutions (LIAPDF), whose objective is to guarantee compliance with their obligations and preserve the foundational will to throughout his entire life.  The JAPDF is governed by a Board of Directors made up equally of representatives of the IAPs and the Government, related to the Social Sector.
