ADÓPTAME MÉXICO is a non-profit foundation created in February 2015 by a couple of volunteers with extensive experience in animal rescue and adoption who decide to join forces, enthusiasm and passion to fight for the most defenseless and carry out work for a social good.

Fundación Alzheimer someone to count on IAP is the first non-profit institution in Mexico to serve people with Alzheimer's disease. Since its founding in 1985, the institution has cared for more than 6000 people, including patients and their caregivers, providing an improved quality of life and a break for their families.
A group of people who were joined by the sorrow of having had a relative with Alzheimer's disease, and health professionals decided to open a new Day Center, given the urgent need to have institutions that work day or 24 hours with professionalism and seriousness for adequate care, timely detection, information, training and interdisciplinary care that are required to face diseases such as Alzheimer's and similar dementias.

We are the pioneering institution in Mexico to help children and adolescents with cancer. We complement the medical care of children under 18 years of age with cancer through our Comprehensive Accompaniment Model, which includes assistance and development services so that patients continue their treatments and upon recovery, rejoin their communities in the best conditions. Currently, we are present in 20 states of the Republic Mexican.

On March 20, 2013, Gerardo Hernández Téllez, my brother, a victim of various cancerous tumors, died after having fought for 19 months against this disease.
Currently a group of volunteers accompany me assuming the commitment to generously hug children, adolescents and people living with cancer, as well as their families, to help them understand and manage the disease process so that they enjoy and share the best what they have.
